Systems Thinking into 2018 - Yes, we still need it!
This is a joint APICS/ASQ Meeting

Speaker:
John P. Lafferty - President/CEO of CellMyLight, Inc; ASQ Delaware Section Chairman

Details:
Many of us have our stake into the Quality Era of the 1980, 1990, Millenniums, and the next decade. Something we forget is that the heart of every Quality Improvement effort starts and ends with “Systems Thinking”. This presentation will be all about Systems Thinking. The basis of Dr. W. Edwards Deming, Peter Scholtes, Joseph Juran, or even the world expert of Peter Senge - all start with looking at every problem as a “Solution” to improve a service or product. What would life be like without Systems Thinking? Come hear the importance of this topic from problem identification, to solution development, to controlling the decision. Most importantly, how to maintain the system once it has been changed. Everyone from your Quality Auditor to Quality Manager could learn something from sharpening their skills in “Systems Thinking”.
