Gregory L. Schlegel CPIM, CSP, Jonah
Founder, The Supply Chain Risk Management Consortium
Executive-in-Residence, Supply Chain Risk, Lehigh University

The Chapter is pleased to have Greg join us again for a presentation related to risk and supply chains. Greg has previously shared his knowledge and expertise with our Chapter via PDMs and by leading an ASCM Risk Managagement Certificate workshop.

Details:
Join us for a lively discussion covering supply chain risk, resiliency, risk appetite and company culture. These are themes that resonated with over 300 ASCM professionals at the 2019 International conference in Las Vegas.

We’ll begin by getting grounded on supply chain risk and resiliency. We’ll then move into providing definitions of Risk Appetite and Risk Tolerance. This will prepare us for a Risk Appetite Group exercise! The outcome of the exercise will be to provide you with the attributes of The FOUR Risk Perspectives companies take and their FOUR Risk Strategies that tend to be aligned with the Perspectives. Armed with these definitions, you will have a mechanism to evaluate how your company perceives and approaches risk.

After our group exercise, we’ll share with you a study on agility and resiliency, by industry, which usually brings out a lot of discussion. And finally, we’ll close with providing a glimpse into our 4-Stage, Strategic Supply Chain Risk & Resiliency Roadmap and raffle off a free copy of our SCRM book.

Agenda:
5:45 - 6:30  Registration & Networking
6:30 - 7:15  Dinner
7:15 - 8:30  Announcements and Speaker
