Details: Top Management Night is our yearly event where we encourage you to invite your favorite professional manager or influential leader, past or present, to attend as a guest of the APICS Brandywine Valley Chapter. This night has come to be known for its excellent speakers and outstanding cuisine, and provides a great opportunity to network with supply chain and operations professionals, and learn more about APICS Brandywine Valley's offerings for both individuals and companies. Our topic for the evening will be Supply Chain Strategy. Supply Chain Strategy development is a critical competency for a Supply Chain Leader.  This presentation will take attendees through a step by step process that can be utilized by Supply Chain Professionals to ensure that they have incorporated all critical components when developing the annual or multi-year Supply Chain Strategy.  This discussion/presentation can be a valuable tool for ensuring the development of a successful strategic plan.

Speaker Biography: Frank Hazeltine has 30+ years of experience in a wide range of industries as both a supply chain executive and practitioner. Prior to joining Gartner, he was vice president of global markets for a leading global third-party logistics services provider, where he led the organization’s entry into Asia as well as  the evaluation of Indian and Russian markets. He also introduced new service lines such as global lead logistics provider and inventory optimization. As vice president of freight management, he led the development of global transportation management capabilities and key strategic alliances.

Before that, Mr. Hazeltine was a director of forecasting and planning for a major consumer products organization with responsibility for the implementation of a global ERP solution, inventory optimization, the S&OP process and global sourcing activities. He has extensive consulting experience in software strategy and implementation, business process re-engineering, pharmaceutical benchmarking and lean process implementations.

Mr. Hazeltine is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, a certified CPIM (American Production and Inventory Control Society) and a certified CPM (Institute of Supply Management).
