Is Your Supply Chain Competitive? How Do You Know?

Details:
There are three objectives that will be addressed in this session:
1. Define the elements of the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model.
2. Establish how to calculate the SCOR model criteria.
3. Benchmark the supply chain primary measurements.

We will cover material and discuss it to provide the group with an understanding of the elements of the Supply Chain and the SCOR model. The basic measurements of the SCOR model will be discussed – their application and how they are measured will also be explained.  Having established the basic supply chain measurements from data in this session, they will be benchmarked nationally and internationally

This is an interactive session with the request made in advance to come prepared with information about your company.

   - On time shipment
   - Inventory days
   - cash to cash days
   - cost of supply chain management
   - ROA

Speaker Biography:
Blair is a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) from London and has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.

He has 35 years of manufacturing experience with Pullman Standard in Chicago and Lightolier in NJ. From Sept. ‘90 to Oct. ’98 he was Director of Supply Chain Management, Systems and Manufacturing Engineering at AT&T’s Submarine System’s factory in Clark, NJ. He was an Industry Professor of ME and IE at NYU - specializing in Supply Chain, Lean and Production planning and control. He is also a corporate Supply Chain consultant.

He is an active member of APICS, and is recognized as a CFPIM and CSCP-F. He has presented numerous papers at National and International conferences, in South Africa, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India and at various USA sites.

He is currently a board member and Past President of the Princeton and South Jersey Chapter of NJ.  He has published ‘Manufacturing for Survival’ - The How-to Guide for Practitioners and Managers ISBN 0201633736 (Addison Wesley/Pearson).
