Speaker Biography:
Rebecca A. Leyson

Rebecca is a talent and career transition professional who focuses on creating results for diverse clients and stakeholders across multiple industries across the country.  She leverages a background in career transition, recruiting, training and development, and higher education. Her higher education experience includes both teaching and career services. She has experience in both short-term and long-term project management. Certified CCTC for career coaching.  Equally adept at supporting clients that are local and geographically dispersed, she is able to build relationships quickly enabling her to collaborate and support diverse clients successfully.

Transition coaching

  • Provide 1:1 virtual career coaching to diverse clients across all industries and global locations. Requested to support executive and high-profile clients.
  • Requested to provide webinars, presentations and onsite support activities for clients. Requested to support executive and high-profile clients.


  • Provided full lifecycle recruiting from job posting to offer negotiation  for roles from customer service to senior leadership.
  • Chosen to participate in university recruiting, internship project leadership and veteran recruiting.

University career services

  • Coached and counseled students and alumni on career decisions, programs, networking and job search success tactics. Created resumes for students and alumni.  Created and presented multiple  workshops related to networking, social media. Led Career Fair programs.
  • Led Employer Relations programs including initiating and enhancing relationships, promoting on-campus activities resulting in increased hiring of students and alumni, and Employer Surveys.
